Is the Sahara basically between the Solid LevRg and the MOjave?

Not, according to a friend (JS here) who has thrown a Mojave and I've seen it. The Mojave is just an all-around better ball for light oil than the Sahara was/is. More control, plenty of length, still plenty of hook and PLENTY of hit.

The Sahara has a more "powerful" core than the MoJave - more differential, more pop at the breakpoint when drilled same. I'd say they are good for similar conditions, but the Sahara can be much touchier and more nervous than the MoJave - just like Jeff states: better control. This does not make the Sahara a bad ball, but I'd say that the MoJave is more the kind of answer you might ask for when facing worn lanes and light conditions.

The Solid LevRG fits IMHO well above both balls, it has much better traction due to its solid PK18 coverstock, and the core is a nice allround/control evolution of the EZrev core.

Possibly the Sahara (N Control cover???) vs. MoJave (PK17) makes the MoJave more useable and not as nervous at the break point????

LevRG, Solid LevRG, an Mojave from what i have seen and thrown out of those, will make a great solid, smooth arsenal of 3 for a league bowler

Yes, just waht Jeff mentioned. PK17 is a great stuff! Antique, by bowling standards, but great for lighter conditions. I love the Power Grooves which still use it and always wondered why Brunswick would not offer it with a lower RG core, like the Red or Green Monsters. Personally, I'd prefer PK17 anytime to N'Control, since the latter was and is) pretty nervous for me and makes balls very condition-specific.

FYI If you like PK 17 and would like to get it in a lower RG ball, the Fury Pearl Touring Edition is supposed to use PK 17. The RG is like 2.47 or thereabouts. When I learned this, I couldn't resist and bought one. Haven't drilled it yet. I think the core is stronger than anything inside a PK 17 ball since the original Sapphire Zone. I know you're in Germany, but there's been lots of FPTE floating around here and on ebay.

I did not know (or even think of) that it could be PK17. I thought it would be a badly cured production series, like the Classic Zone Red Pin. The FPTE ahs been around here in small numbers but is already gone since the Fury Pearl had not been very popular around here. But maybe one pops up, and then it is good to know about the coverstock.
