Got this pretty jewel awhile ago and just turned out to be a dog for me.

Got familiar with Mo's supersymmetrical, assymetrical, and flip assymetrical drillings while punching them on a few Columbia Drives I picked up!

Loved the supersymmetrical on the drive for our oil for 16 feet, no oil in the midlanes and then carrydown shot!  But maybe a touch early.

So I put a version of supersymmetrical on this Sahara.  Pin up next to ring and mass bias just on strong side of thumb...not straight under.

This ball moves just like the Drive supersymmetrical but later and cleaner!
(for the perfect move I would have put mass bias under thumb...drat).

First impression is what a CLEAN CLEAN coverstock  for push!  I compared to a storm Recharge I have that has a similar pin cg and theoretical mass bias and I couldn't believe how much harder the Storm read our dry!

So for all those questions about this ball...truly a dry lane ball...not really stronger core(delivers the backend I at this center with a small puddle at break)  BUT beautiful easy push!

I could see making this a real winner for me now that I have a sweet drilling on it for our weird house!

more confirmation.....clean clean clean and great revup and a strong backend.

Used for a few the other night in league and it wouldn't carry.

Went out last night wider and it carried like crazy!

Not a true dry lane ball but at the same time does not read the wet dry transition very hard....can you say....push!

PS I have so called weak coverstock and weaker core balls that read that oil line harder...the sonic pearls...but this has more backend...perfect for this weirdo shot...and looks great on the rack....and revvin hard down the lanes!

What is the drilling.  Is it where the pin is closer to your pap and low towards the mid line?

Super symmetrical looks a lot like a label leverage drilling.

Except pin is only up 1 1/2 inch from mid grip line.

It ends up with a pin to pap of about 4 1/4..mb under thumb and pin down about 1/2 inch out and below ring.  I just moved pin up even with ring!

Slightly later move!

Last night guy next to me bowling on the wrong side shot a 290 with HIS Sahara.

For some reason I struggled...our shot for me with this ball is very wide and coverstock definetily needs to find hard dry to make it's move but then it transitions smoothly and hard and then kills!

I've noticed a lot in league the shot with this ball is often 10 or 11 out to 5 and will even recover from 3 or 2 or 1 and maybe strike.

For some reason I became fixated on going out only to 8 and kept ring a dinging some 7s.....

Finally forced myself on the 10 to 3 line and even though against gut feel came racin back kapow...no chance for a ringer.

Find some dry at the break and this is again...one of the best push forever and recover from left field or if you are on the wrong side...right field!
