Single Drill Levreg
« on: October 04, 2009, 12:59:04 PM »
Got the chance to pick up a single drill real cheap. So my queston is how does this ball compare to the virtual grav which I really like. Should I take the chance and drill it and save it for some heavy stuff or let it go?

I have one I bought used and it is the strongest ball I've thrown hands down. A very strong piece. Mine's drilled with Mo's strong midlane roll layout and it does not back down anywhere. One piece of advice though, make sure if you can, that the ball is almost layed how you want it already. What I mean in that is, sometimes plugging strong assymetrics can throw off the core dynamics if parts of the core have been taken out. I bought an Awesome Finish and Seek & Destroy used and they don't react at all. I think it is because they have been drilled multiple times. However, my LevRG is a beast. I just got lucky. So if the holes are in the general location where you would drill it, I would say go for it. I'm very impressed with the ball. A little surface on this ball makes it a monster. Another note, people here have seen better luck with the EZ REV cores when drilling them slightly weaker than you would normally.

The plugging should not be an issue Its drilled lefty and I am a right hander.  Can anybody compare this ball to a virtual grav as far as reaction to oil etc...Weaker or stronger .  I know alot depends on layout but if they were layed out the same what would I expect?

the ez rev core is very early where the VG that I tried went further with more back end.
