Seek & Destroy vs Robo Rule
« on: December 05, 2005, 07:37:39 AM »
How could you compare the two? I'm interested in getting one of these. I'm trying to open up this really nasty THS I'm bowling on. It's a 38' - 40' THS where everything right now is skidding too far, and I have adjusted surface and hand positions. I need something that will cut through the oil, and yet still have 'some' energy on the back.

WMB is medium load particle... Seek and destroy is similar cover with an even flippier version of the WMB core.

TSA is new reactive(like TA and like Ultimate Inferno).

Mayhem is heavy load particle.

volsfan, how do you have yours layed out? What kind of reaction do you get from it? What kind of condition are you throwing it on?

I'm the exact opposite with my WMB, it has actually gotten stronger over time for me. At first when I bought it, I thought it was a dud. I plugged it and re-drilled it properly... I still didn't like it, but I kept throwing it. Out of the blue, this monster came alive. It needs to be cleaned all the time, that's the key!

Terry, no, C4 does not indicate Activator ....it's an "additive"

I contacted Morich about a suggested drill pattern:

Based on the information that you have provided, we would suggest the following layout for a Seek & Destroy, with regards to what the ball was designed to do:

Pin to PAP distance = 3 3/8"
Mass Bias to PAP distance = 5 1/4"
Pin height above the midline of the grip = 2 1/8"

This should be the strongest in the bag... Thinking about it, I guess I really couldn't go wrong with either of them.
