From what I have heard about it, I'd assume that the S & A will be longer, and break harder than the Absolute.  As for drillings, I don't really know how to compare them, since the abby is symmetrical, while the SA uses a very strong assymetrical core.

I have both, but totally different drillings. The AI is drilled with the Rico 1 layout, which is length, excellent midlane read and a very strong arcing move to the pocket with plenty continuation.

The S&A is drilled for a sharp break point, and believe me it is sharp, has good length with a ton of recovery. Gives me another 3-5 boards  than the AI with more recovery than the  AI.

I generally begin with the S&A, by the end of the 2nd game I'm getting out the AI, more controlable and predictible on the backend than the S&A's hard sharp turn.

I have a fairly odd drilling on my S&A.  I just got the ball last Tuesday.  Mo picked out the drilling for me so I'm still getting used to it.  I have the exact specs at home, but my ring finger is drilled into the left half of the pin.
