last I had heard when the ball was going to be released was march 20th.  However, a friend of mine informed me it could be this week.  They actually got a bit behind and have somehow mangaed to catch up with production.  I would try it probably friday at the latest.  But definately by the 20th

Where are you from Kingpin?? I live just outside of Milwaukee and I know of a proshop guy that does a great job and he can get you on a list to buy this ball.

Let me know.

I'd be happy to help you out.

Thanks,

Scott

My supplier said they won't begin shipping them until March 30th. So I called Shari and she's sending one out this week.

I'm drilling mine up tonight, Asymmetrical Flip drilling. I'm hoping I will get a skid snap reaction with it.

Scott got his in last Wednesday. Drilled it up then went 246-300-258 for 804 first night out. Let another gu in the shop try it out and he went 299 first game with it. Since then we have had about 10 orders for it. Those will all be coming in next Thursday. Debating on wether or not I will get one. My Absolute hooks a ton as it is.

And then this one time...at band camp...

Can anyone compare this to the Ravage, length wise?
I have two Ravages drilled up and wanted to know if the S&A goes longer or earlier. I'm guessing the Ravage will be better on medium-oily and the S&A will go longer and be better suited for medium-dry?

Thanks

Shock and Awe has no "conditions" listed on the drill patterns...I would say that it would be longer and stronger than the Ravage.......

I spoke to some guy at Morich last week (can't remember his name) and he told me the shock and awe was a much stronger ball than the Ravage. Both the core and cover are totally different..

Just got mine delivered from Buddies. Ball looks awesome. It actually has a compound finish. Not polished like the OB Ravage. I'll drill it like one of my Ravages with the Pin under the ring finger, 4 1/4 from my PAP (5 x 1/2 up) and the MB on my VAL about 4inches from my PAP, and I'll try to let you know the differences once I throw it.

Thanks everyone. Especially Buddies for getting it to me so soon.
