Hmmm, looks to me like a tamer (and at OOB more controllable...) version of the Awesome Finish? Should come closer to the Ravage, with its higher RG and reduced differential and asym. diff., and pretty smooth at 4.000 grit OOB.

How much control does anyone need? Morich balls are already super controlled in comparison to the vast majority of the balls on the market. I am rev dominant and I like Mo's when I want control.

Well its very controllable but I think what hes saying is its going to hook less. Most of mo's stuff is easy to control, but its going to cover alot of boards, just it doesn't do it like other companies all in one snapping motion. For me Morich has the most controllable balls out there and the most predictiable but they all hook alot.

If this ball does not check up early like most Mo Stuff it will be a plus. There is just not enough oil on most house shots for a Box Surface LevRG in my eyes.

Hook a little less, potentially, but I'd also expect a better control at the break point. At 4.000 grit, with the higher RG etc., I think the new ball will have a smoother overall reaction shape than the AFi, relatively, whcih is not difficult - mine is a snap monster, te first ball that made me doubt if I can really control it!
The new one should relly be a good medium condtion ball, and I think it will also be good for later games with some carrydown.

Just the name is so lame... It could also have been called "Blue LevRG", just as inspiring?

With this core development (higher RG, tamer MB) I could also see a potential Sahara replacement in the near future with the LevRG core, either with N'Control as the Sahara, or maybe good old PK17?

I'm not really keen on the name, I mean technically the LevRG is also a solid.

I have to say this is a good idea though, I love the ez-rev core.  My LevRG is my favorite ball right now but I have to put it away so quickly.  Although, it's tough to beat the length of the awesome finish.

I imagine this will be more continuous though.

I think that's the plan, and it makes sense to me, escpecially in a high/early friction environment.

Yeah the name is dumb and the ball looks lame but hey its got Morich's logo on it so you know its going to be a good ball! I don't have an Awesome Finish because my friend had one and I pretty much hated it so I never gave that one a chance, but I think this ball is going to be a little more tame and easier to control but hey wheres the fun in that?? lol
