Not only that it's teaching me a new way to play!
This incredibly difficult for me center has had my number big time for two years.
However after drilling up my first real strong mass bias ball in a while...This total and my first NIB virgin MORICH ball I now understand the dramatic difference mass bias can do for you on these slippery Brunswick Anvilane synthetics.
The shot....long....low volume and incredible wet dry with no blending of the pattern!
The ways that seem to work ....Speed....Loft....Very little side turn.
I am softer speed....very little loft....lots of side turn. Ooops.
The difference in this house and others I have bowled in is often 30 pins a game for me!
BUT after a real nice trip to Florida where I was Scroggins' in it! (Almost all games over 200 for a week) I came back and have continued at this TOUGH center for me and most lefties!
3 days ago bowling wiht my young kids...(Daddy...can I throw on your lane!) 8 bagger....(Daddy...Dadddy Daddy PLEASE let me throw on your lane) 9 / 9/ X 268.
Then another big one for a near 700 practice set with a lot of hot dog trips, potty trips, false starts.... Not bad!
What is it about this ball that makes it so good!?
I'd have to say it is just the power at the break. It allows me to go 6 to 7 boards deeper with my feet(pin over ring and mass bias strong) and use a board only 1 board left!
My body is so open now and the ball is carrying great while playing this standard wet dry strategy(aim well outside the oil line for ultimate breakpoint). But also because my body is so open and feet are deeper into the oil....the ball is getting more push(but carrying) and also with open body I can pull the ball a litte and get a touch of hold but most importantly...even though this ball is not really getting out and getting attack angle...it is able to carry from narrow attack angles due to the mass bias!!
On slippery brunswick synthetics...I can see why so many are relying on mass bias to help get the job done.

PS Because of the tremendous strength of this ball in the midlane and backend I have aligned my body very far to the left(lefty)...ie my projection angle while throwing over the 14th board often would be at the 6 pin on the adjoining lane) or maybe into the gutter at 35 feet! As a result I have stopped aligning my feet parallel to each other and the line. I have adopted a stance that many others know about but I had not used and this ball and the stance are seeming to change the way my ball sees the lane. A very open left foot and pulled back along with a parallel slide foot! Thsi setup is softening up the tremendous amount of attack angle I often get with my strong side release!! Yahoo! Thanks MORICH....THanks TOTAL.

Proud owner of a 140 first game average this year! Don't bowl me the second two games though! (two warm up balls in league..thanks proprietors)
