I guess when comparing this ball to the TS&A or AH, balls with virtually the same cover, it may not have as much on the back (though I personally thought as far as angularity it was pretty close to TS&A). Don't think however that this ball is old and out dated, it really didn't come out that long ago, and has a reaction that is comparable to the Strike Zone from brunswick.
When the ball came out many proclaimed it as an ultimate inferno upgrade. Many didn't like the UI due to what some said was a lack of continuation, and this asymetrick release did just that it made a continuous motion. Due to mixed reviews of the WMB it was morich's premium heavy oil ball until the TS&A came out. While lacking the midlane of the TS&A and thus the oil handling capability, it still is a great ball. More than enough hook for the heaviest oil most see and a more screw up prone core design (weaker asym so harder to mess up than the vanguard) the TA should still have a spot in your bag. The only reason this ball is not considered in the same class as the Ravage concerning collectorsis that no ball has come out from Morich's product lines in a medium agressive polished solid, whereas two more have come out in a super agressive sanded solid.
I could have gotten one for a great reduced price but I was too late. I wish I would have jumped on that deal, at least I got a Ravage though
