I know I have nothing to do with MoRich, but I a was just at the Mini-Eliminator and watched a guy throw this ball. He actually had it polished. The ball hooked a ton. I asked Mo what he was using and he told me. He said the ball is a stronger reactive cover then the Ravage. I can tell you the lanes were very tight and the bowler using it did not any problems getting it to hook. He almost got to much hook and this was a player that did not have a hi rev rate. This ball looked real good. I think Mo's bowling balls have are looking better because they have better coverstocks. Mo's been making good stuff for a long time now and now that he can pick and choose some better coverstocks it will make his stuff great. Also, it is very important to pay attention to the drilling instructions on these balls and all asymetric balls.

But as of right now the only Brunswick cover stronger than the PK 18 (as far as I know) on the Ravage is the ACtivator cover, which morich (the userid here on ballreviews, Mo's son) said his father did not like on their cores.

So my question is, what could this cover be?

I've heard of Power Koil 19 through 21, on Revolution balls and some Brunswick International balls, but I have never seen their strenths relative to PK 19 described.

I guess I am the only person that is not excited about MoRich going with the Brunswick coverstocks.

They do have some decent reactive covers, I will give them that. However their particle covers just seem to burn up really quick. Many bowlers around here that have used the Raging have seen a terrible loss of reaction in the first 30 games or so. They(Brunswick particles) also seem to track up really quick in comparison with alot of the other stuff on the market.

Looking over alot of Mo's stuff, he seemed to favor particle. That is not a good mix with Brunswick.

I have to disagree with this statement.  I have/had many Big B particle balls.  If they are taking care of properly they are the best on the market.  I had the HPH, Brimestone Monster and have a HPD, Shock Zone, and Super Carbide bomb.  I have never had a ball die on me, the HPD probably has a few thousand games on it.  I clean them religiously and resand the cover often.  I would take a Big B cover over any other on the market.

You guys and your color bashing.
Who cares!!
Take a look at the Supreme(yes it's purple) from Mo and this ball is anything but weak.
This is my #1 ball.
I have had several 300's and a couple of 800's with this ball.

Actually, the color of a ball does have something to do with how much a ball hooks. No kidding here, (I am serious) ask around. Next, I have a Colossus Pearl that Mo and Kenny Hall from Schenectady, NY laid out and drilled. I probably have 1200 games on it and it hooks the same today as the day that it was drilled. I take good care of my equipment and Mo has authored my articles about it. I believe Mo got to adjust the resins for his cover thus they never suffered through TEC death. But in the long run it is good ball maintence.

I talked to Mo Pinel this morning at the mini eliminator finals about the Total annihilation and he told me same weight block as Ravage, Mayhem and onslaught but changed the densities and tweaked a new reactive for the ball that is stronger than the pk18. He said it his blend and not activator from his own mouth, 3 boards stronger than Ravage in oil and 7 boards stronger in the dry than Ravage. It sounds like a winner he i also talked to him about my old trusty 3d series and it was kind of cool to talk with the man himself great guy very very smart man.

KOTM,

Is this C4 cover considered particle or resin?  Take care....John
