HOW SICK IS THE "TOTAL SHOCK AND AWE" ...I TELL YOU.

I just drilled this up today. box specs were
15lb 3oz
pin 3-4
2.6 top.
the ball comes 400 grit

I layed this out 4 1/2 PAD X 5 3/8 MBD and 3" above the midline.
Before I had problems with "y" spinner/really strong MB cores, they would always hook set on my and plaque all day. they seemed to transition to quick of the break. I rather like the slower transition of the break I like the control better. Well this ball had messengers/searchers/Jimmy SuperFly Snuka or what ever you want to call them! This Vanguard core is totally different than anything I ever thrown. I seen this freakin thing get to the break and rev up unlike any other ball and still be continuous, that right no ten pins all night.
I missed practice I threw the front 8 out the box for 268, 220 and 279. for 758.  I'm still trying to figure out best layouts for these cores but now I have an idea. if you did not try the WMB or S&A go get one soon.

Cover is C4 Enhanced reactive and my span is 5 3/8 on the both fingers piches are 11/16 and 1-3/16 away and thumb is 1/4 left and 5/16 reverse.

this ball is RH drill

The only ball with the Activator cover is the Shock and Awe. The Sahara is N'control. The rest are modified powerkoil 18 covers.

Jimmy "SuperFly" Snuka......ahhhhh, the good old days.

I came across Raw last night, and I saw Shawn Micheals challenging the Hulkster to one last match.  LOL!!  The Hulkster HAS to look just rediculous these days, he was starting to wrinkle up pretty bad the last time he was on the show.  I can't imagine what he looks like now.

On a side note, Lonce, the women must love you bud!

Great first set with an unknown, how does it compare to a TA overall? I would think 3-4 boards stronger just based on the vanguards higher MB numbers.

According to Fred the cover is pk18 on streroids. I drilled one up last night
Beginning specs:
#15 3.5 oz, 2.9 oz top, 2-3/4" pin

Drilled specs:
gross wt #14-15 oz
finger wt.  + 3/4 oz
5/8 oz pos side
1-1/4 top wt.

Layout is 3-3/8 x 5-3/4 x 2 with a target wt hole 3" right of grip center on mid line 11/16" bit drilled 2" deep. Got it all preped ready to go then had a shop full of customers and did not get a chance to roll it last night. It's pretty much the same layout as my S & A, I'll get to throw it this evening, first on last night's leftovers and then on a fresh league shot. I'm thinking it is going to need a cover change,as in  going to be way to strong for THS. My S & A is an absolute rack shredder, I can not imagine what this "bomb" is going to be like. Post again either late tonight or in the morning with a brief review.

Anyone else got one drilled, and ready to make a review? I've got 2 Sahara's and have not decided what to do with yet.

The Total Shock and Awe is supossed to be used when the TA starts to quit on carry down. This is because the Total Shock and Awe is more continous in the back.

I just been Crowned the "King of the Hill" thanks to the Total Shock and Awe.

I was leading qualifier with 720 and queeked through hard matches to the crown.

Mo you's a SOB with this one!! i will be drilling up a WMB and a S&A tomorrow.

Since I had some success with the TSA so today I drilled up a Shock and Awe.....Well 299 HOT OFF THE DRILL PRESS. These things carry anything that close. the Vanguard revs up so well at the break, that you can't ping the ten pin.
