Weapon of Mass Bias
« on: April 15, 2008, 09:56:05 PM »
I have never owned a Morich but after throwing this one for two sets all I can say is WOW! I got this ball off Ebay. I have thrown two sets in tow diff houses and I have thrown 682-743 (hg 278). I have thrown the ball from 20-10 and straight up between 5-10. If the performance of this ball is indicative of Morich equipment then I amy be persuaded to give up Roto Grip. Is there anything I need to do for the coverstock as far as cleaning?

MoRich balls (except for the older ones, like the Onslaught and the like) have Brunswick covers, mainly PK18 derivates and some with Activator+. All very durable, ball death is IMHO not an issue. Just keep them clean, and you should have fun for a long period of time.

Morich stuff is great. One thing is they all have the same kind of roll. Just depending on layout is how soon or hard they react but the overall shape is about the same so the balls are very predictable and usually you won't have an over/under problem with Morich equipment.

Just clean them using a good certified cleaner after use and you should be able to keep it mostly clean like that for a while. Then after a month or so, do the hot water bath or revivor at your local pro shop and it will be like brand new. I don't know of anyone who has had problems with ball death from Morich yet.

It's a great ball, one of those balls where all you need to do is hit the head pin for a chance at a strike.

I think thats morich in general...these balls crunch some pins...
