Why MoRich
« on: November 08, 2006, 06:41:16 PM »
I don't see alot of MoRich equipment in my area (Pacific Northwest)
matter of fact I didn't even know that MoRich was a ball company until a few weeks ago, so my question is, why MoRich? Whats so good about their equipment and what makes them better than any other company?

MoRich is a smaller company that started out in 2000. So yes, they are relatively new, HOWEVER, they have made it as all of the other smaller companies who have tried to start have not done so hot...PowerPlay...etc. As for their equipment, Mo's Vanguard core is a very interesting piece. It is VERY tweakable, very driller and bowler friendly. I was just at his seminar yesterday, and his thoughts are very in depth about equipment in general. Brunswick pours their balls for them, and MO has insight on some covers as well for himself.

As for what is a good ball for anyone, all that is determined by matchup. You can take the same ball, same everything, and drill it 2 different ways and LOVE one and despise the other. Its all about how that ball matches up for you and your game. If you find a knowledgeable driller, and they see/tell what you need, there should be no problem finding something for you from MoRich to fit your game.

Why switch to Morich????

I switched to MoRich because I discovered their stuff when matched properly gives more area on a THS. I also carry corners a whole lot better and average has gone up by about 10 pins per game to around 231. Higher if I would work on my spare game. I was at the MoRich/Brunswick seminar on Monday in York. To be honest it was hard to stay interested in the Brunswick part. When Mo stepped up, it was time to listen an learn. My favorite part was concerning the the line of most resistance. After Monday, I am convinced even more that MoRich technology is the best on the market today!!!

Clint, glad you are on the Mo train!!!

MoRich makes me mo rich, cuz I sell the 300 & 800 rings on eBay....
While you're leaving corners, I am laughing inwardly....
My core has a hole in it, but your score sheet does....
I flip out ten pins, you flip them off....

In my opinion I dont find the core to be very driller friendly nor bowler friendly. I have had people bring in morich stuff that didnt do what they wanted or what the drill sheet said it would. Flip drills that arc, arc drills that wobbled and hit flat. I have had trouble in the past with the balls also so I know it can be frustrating to try and drill one for someone and hope that it is right. I drilled one for my wife and it was the best reacting ball she ever had. Drilling morich stuff has been hit or miss for some but when they hit they do hit. Good equipment but like I said I dont find them to friendly.

Well...100% honest, I have to get more stuff in my hands with different drills to see what they do....

From what I have read, saw, and think and have been told, the difference comes in due to the Vanguard core. A drill on it does not react like a similar/same drill would on a different ball. So while the sheets look generic and he is trying to tell you is going to do something different that what your eyes tell you, in fact, it may be true. Mo also has a 2nd drill sheet as well.

I have drilled three S&D's, 2 AF's, a Ravage, Onslaught, Sahara, Total Shock and Awe, Shock and Awe, Awesome Hook, and a Mayhem.  I have had success with all but one of these, which I bought off someone and had plugged.  If you have a driller that understads their stuff, and some knowledge as to what type of reaction you want you pretty much can be spot on.  If you understand the cores fully, you can make their stuff do just about anything you want.
