What is the difference

Between the Weapon of Mass Bias and Seek and Destroy in reaction? Besides the finish on them, which either ball can be altered. They look the same thing to me.

The major difference is the coverstock. The WMB is stronger particle with more particle load and the ball had a tendancy to die after about 50 games. The S&D is stronger flip in the backend and has a lighter load particle which results in a longer lifespan.

The core in the S&D has a nasty flip block on it as well

I don't know about the WMB dying after 50 games.  I've had mine for well over a year now and they are just as good as they were when I picked them up.  You just have to make sure you clean the ball after you use it.

Please......keep false statements out of the forums!  Particle load is NOT related to balls dying....improper maintenance is...PERIOD!

All I know is that the WMB and S&D have different cover stocks, with the S&D's being stronger than the WMB.  Particle load...I'm not sure...but the cover is stronger on the S&D.

Also, the core is different. The base core is the same, but the S&D has the TOP flip block ...where the WMB didn't have any flip blocks.  There are some density changes on the core as well to make it stronger.

Brian, look at the balls on Mo's site, you can see the differences in the flip blocks of the Vanguard cores ...

Both balls could EASILY find a home in your bag because they should give you different reactions even if drilled the same.  If / when I move over to the Vanguard core balls,...I'll DEFINATELY have a WMB as a benchmark/control peice for me.  Reminds me (theoretically) of the Hercules as a great all around ball.

Hope that helps Brian ....
