Title: whats next for morich?
Post by: Bar5003 on August 02, 2005, 04:07:01 AM
i remember a thread was started before about what was on the drawing board for morich maybe by the name of "seek and destroy".  Just curious if anyone heard anything recently about this ball or knows any info.  i remember someone (Precision i think) said its a heavy/dense subject...

Mr. Jeffrevs would know best.  But your better off watching paint dry then getting information from him.

seek and destroy IS a dense/heavy subject....that will put you in danger once you start throwing the ball and get into the zone......

from Mo...

Jeff, is Seek and Destroy the real name of the ball or is that a complete myth?

Is there a tentative release date for it yet?

"Forget everything you know about hook" isn't the same thing as more hook.  It doesn't have to be a monster that burns up on anything but Teflon.  It doesn't have to be particles so large, frequent, and sharp that they cut your hand picking up the ball.  It doesn't have to be so dull that it actually absorbs light from the surrounding area.

Just different.

Could be. Maybe a polyester cover with the Vanguard Core like many of you have requested. Wont hook a bit. Hence the saying, "forget everything you know about hook". That's my guess.

i didnt mean that its gonna be a ball that burns up at ur toes...i just meant that bowling ball technology is getting to the point where if u cant throw a hook...buy a hook...but thats a whole other can of worms that im not gonna open up...im sure it will be a great ball and im also sure ill buy it lol

I wonder what a hole going vertically through the core with some sort of "cross section" would do?  Hmm....

this sounds good but the thought of (MO) comeing out with a spare ball would be great as well,, maybe something that will just scare the 10 pin down

Mo should make it so when the ball is rolling down the lane it starts playing, Searchinnnnnnnnnnnn seek and destroyyyyyyyyyy ha ha ha ha ha haaaaaaaaaa, it could be a MOtion activated singing core. hmmmmmmmm too bad Van Halen didn't sing that song, then he could call the core the VanHalenGuard

He should make that core out of aluminum, i wonder what that would do??

I think any metallic component inside a bowling ball is verboten.  That's one reason why the Quasar is illegal, as is the beer-bottle ball from clearballs.com

Is this MO's answer to the epoxy?

the beerbottles are illegal because of the fluid inside the bottles as i understand it. the quasar because of the stupid/cool lights distract other bowlers. a while ago i asked the question about fullmetal cores, the answer is in drilling. manufacturers couldnt ask pro shops to invest in new drills and bits to drill into metal. thus the warning on the ti series and the old ceramicores.
