I've had the pin under the fingers or under the right finger a few times. If the CG and MB is straight down then I usually will have a new spare ball because it doesn't move a single board for me. The only layout I've had to work is pin under ring with the MB kicked out to the right about 1-2" away from the thumb and this gave me a ball that went long and turned extreamly hard on the backend. Most of my Morich stuff has to have the pin above the ring or to the right of it. Can't be to the right and below or in the center of the fingers above. and the MB has to be about 1-3" to the right of the thumb for me to get a big movement.
