Both are very aggressive and "archy". LevRg will hook more at same surface grit as the Hook. New core in LevRg is stronger than core in Hook. Both are great balls for heavier patterns. Both have surfaces that can be adjusted to suit your needs. You can't go wrong with either but if you want the latest thing then go with the LevRg. I have the Hook and love it in the oil but it gets very little use because my house usually doesn't go too heavy on the pattern. That is why I did not buy a LevRg. I do plan to get an Nsane LevRg soon.
