why?
« on: March 26, 2008, 01:20:01 AM »
Why is it we never have anything to talk about in this forum? all the other forums are jumping but nothing is going here.

SORRY! I don't think so. In the past when the Vanguard Core came out for a series of balls (i.e. WMB ==> Awesome XX), there was many topics in this forum because of the successful core match with the right coverstock. But now, I don't think the EZ Rev core match with those new coverstock properly; that makes bowlers disappointed (at least "ME") and have nothing to talk with.

I don't think none of the other companies reps on Ballreveiws can bash Mo Pinels ideas and bowling ball designs

...and I have yet to see a MoRich ball die from ball death ..

I agree, usually nothing to discuss because off those two reasons above and Mo doesn't release 10 balls every month like what Ebo and some of the bigger companies seem to do so most of the time the ball has been covered in a previous topic and not much left to talk about. The biggest thing I see mostly in this forum is layout questions but thats really about it.

I think part of it is that MoRich balls do not appeal to the high rev player or the player who wants true skid/flip.  Face it, most people want their ball to head down the lane to the 45 or 50 foot mark and then make this huge backend angular move to the pocket.  Mo's stuff is designed to be rolly and for more overall hook.  The high rev players at my house won't use MoRich because the balls tend to burn up in the midlane on them.  My pro shop guy said the same thing about high rev players and MoRich balls and he loves Mo's stuff.  If you want true skid/flip you are gonna go elsewhere, hence less to talk about on this forum.  I for one love Mo's stuff but I am not a "boomer" so I guess that makes sense.
