How good is the Original Morich Colossus?

I'll be receiving one in the mail next week.
I was wondering if you guys can tell me your opinions for those
who have owned one.

It's a great ball that can be used on medium-light to heavy oil depending on your ball speed and rev rate.  The coverstock is versatile, but is also high maintenance compared to the coverstocks on the latest Morich balls.  The drillings listed on the Morich website work as advertised, so use your favorite drill pattern on the ball and put 10 in the pit.

This ball is for my dad. He is left handed and is a med track player according to the PAP distance on the Morich layouts.
He throws 14mph. I am thinking of driling the ball for a skid snap or Forward roll because the left side always seems to have med to heavy heads with
medium carry down.

I hope it works.

I have this ball drilled similar to the control layout for the higher track player(even though I track medium-low with my normal release, and very high with my two handed release).  

This is an excellent, versatile ball.  I never see a sign of rollout with it, but it does need some oil up front to stay effective and stay right of the headpin.  It is the most aggressive ball in my bag on the backend and works great when the lanes break down and you have to move left, but still get some continuation through the carrydown.  Hopefully I'll get a chance to drill a Ravage, Ravage II, and WOMB.

In truth, every core design of Mo's has been light years ahead of its time.  There isn't a core of his making that is a bad choice.  The Colossus was and still is a fantastic medium condition piece.
