The weapon: 16 pounds,...1000 smooth, pin 3 3/4" from axis, mass bias @ 5 1/4" w/ a 'target hole' 2" inside val, modified hook-set. For my game...a hook-set type drill is best...(see profile for more info)
Lanes:
Fresh....I mean ...super fresh THS with super screaming backends!!
NOTE: the 2 games I threw were in BOX condition 500 grit....it is now at 1000 grit to smooth it out a bit
My typical start point for most houses is left foot on 20,...yeah...right!! LOL can you say 2-4 ...barely! Well...I moved to 25....nope....and finally settled on 30...crossing the arrows at 18 out to 5-7 at the break. Granted it took me a whole game to get a feel for this ball....but game 2 ended with 8 in a row once I found the right line ! ( I don't usually play deeper than 25....you know...revless over here !
)
This ball revs pretty nice....reads the mids well and seems to start reading the pattern immediately as if its on a path. The way my ball is set up...it's a nice strong move but it's very readable ...you can see it moving...so I'd say hard arc, but not too hard. Even in box , it did get decent length...more than I thought...
Hit: ....for me,...on the condition I was throwing on....if I was anywhere close to the pocket....forget it! Once I got lined up in game 2...I knew just past the arrows if it was striking...and it did. 2 games....NO 10 pins....I did split a few times due to me just finding the line. A few higher hits carried, and a few lighter carried as well. Not EVERY SINGLE one....but most did. Flush pockets were dead-10 in the pit !!
For what I see....this ball will be first out followed by the Herc. The WMB seems like a true lane reader that can open up a THS immediately and carve your line !
I'll take her to my mens league tonight and see what happens on that pattern and report back
