Introducing the Motiv Venom ExJ Limited Edition bowling ball - a tribute to EJ Tackett's remarkable 2023 Player of the Year season. Built to dominate the lanes like never before, this powerhouse delivers unmatched strength and control when it counts the most. While the original Venom Shock's Turmoil coverstock remains a timeless choice for medium-dry lanes, the Venom ExJ takes it up a notch with the Turmoil MXC Solid Reactive coverstock. With technology borrowed from the Evoke and Forge Flare, this coverstock, combined with Duramax additive, seamlessly integrates into your lineup, offering a significant upgrade or serving as your benchmark ball. The Gear Core, renowned for its low rg/low differential characteristics, has long been a standout in the bowling world. Paired with a significantly stronger coverstock in the Venom ExJ, bowlers can now confidently unleash the full potential of the Venom series in various situations. Prepare to honor EJ Tackett's legacy and make history on the lanes with the Venom ExJ. It's time to unleash your full potential and rewrite the record books!

The new Venom ExJ Limited Edition bowling ball was a great surprise on performance for me! My particular bowling ball is in 14 pounds, so my specs may differ from other reviews. As for me, this ball is pretty strong out of the box, which allows me to keep my angles shallow, which plays a bit more into my "A" game. The ExJ allowed me to have a bit of forgiveness left and right. (I am left handed) If I missed in (Right) the ball is strong enough to read in the heavier part of the lane and have enough energy for a higher than normal strike percentage in comparison to other balls I have thrown when missing in. At the same time, If I missed outside, (Left) this ball is strong enough early to prevent the ball from fading too far outside, still giving me a chance to finish in the pocket. I would use this ball on long, light oil patterns, medium oi/medium length patterns, and heavy oil/medium length patterns. I also see this as a good ball during transition games also.

LANE CONDITION

Length: 40 feet

Volume: 19 mils

Type: THS

COMMENTS

Likes: Predictability, Forgiveness, Colors

Dislikes: IMO ball is better for lower to medium rev bowlers. Higher rev bowlers would be forced further into the lane to open up their angles. If you can't get this ball to the dry from playing deep, I noticed that the ball lost a little carry
