What do bowlers look for when purchasing a ball for shooting spares? We look for a ball that's cool or looks cool going down the lane at that pesky 10 pin. There is no ball that is cooler than the all new Arctic Sniper. The Arctic Sniper features a durable DMX Urethane cover stock and Hollow Point core to make shooting spares easier than ever. The White/Silver with Black Neomark Graphics give this ball amazing shelf appeal and the look it has going down the lane is very eye catching. Make your spare shooting look cool with the Arctic Sniper.

How many times have you thrown at a ten pin with a spare ball and missed a board to the left. Maybe you flatten out your hand and throw reactive at your ten pins, how often do you miss them left because of the friction? Well, the new arctic sniper is the perfect mix between a plastic and reactive. It has a simple Hollowpoint core wrapped with the DMX urethane cover allowing this ball to not over read friction but not go dead straight, it picks up just enough.

 Review:
The Arctic Sniper is a great looking ball that does exactly what it was designed to do. The Arctic is a non-reactive urethane ball that is not traditional. Most of us who remember the older urethanes and even newer urethanes such as the Tank saw an early predictable roll. These balls where great on dry but where not considered a spare ball. The Arctic Sniper really shines as a straighter spare shooter.  The cover on the Arctic is highly polished and almost has a pearl look to it. Although the ball is mostly white it does not get very dirty and cleans easily. The Arctic has slightly more grab than a plastic ball, but I feel this helps keep the ball from squirting away from target. I have much more confidence shooting a spare with the Arctic Sniper than a plastic ball. The Arctic Sniper is already selling well in our area and is a must have for Motiv fans.
I use this ball on any lane condition without hesitation to shoot spares. It hooks just enough for accuracy and will never over react. For fun I used the Arctic Sniper on a lane that did not see oil in a while and it can be used as a first ball if required. The ball hits better than plastic due to the core being slightly lower than a traditional pancake and the upgrade from plastic to urethane in the cover stock. I also have a Rev Dominate bowler with a lot of side roll and back problems that cannot generate speed. The Arctic lets them keep the ball on line and performs better than the plastic they used most of the time until now.
The color combination is awesome! Motiv bowling balls have a ton of shelf and ball return appeal.

Summary:
A very good spare ball.
Looks great and cleans easily.
Can be a first ball if required.
Instills more confidence than plastic.
Another great color combination.

Likes: The MOTIV Arctic Sniper rolls down the lane clean with pin point accuracy! When bowling on a house, tournament, or sport shot it\'s my go to ball for all of my spares! This ball looks awesome out of the box and even better rolling down the lane!
Dislikes: Absolutely without certainty....NoNe!!!

The MOTIV Arctic Sniper is not just you average spare ball! With the new DMX urethane Coverstock, hollowpoint core and 4000 Grit power gel polished surface this ball hits your target with force leaving no pins on deck! This ball is not just for shooting corner pins by any means! As a right hander when shooting at any spare his ball will hold lane and will definitely increase your 3, 6, 9 and/or 10 pin spare percentage even if you miss just right of your target. When shooting across the the lane at 3,4, 7 and even 8 pins the sniper will push through any carry down and roll strait to where you want it to go! When leaving a bucket or if you have a sweeper you don\'t have to worry about missing the sweeper or the smooth ball rolling out! My spare percentage has increased drastically with he Arctic Sniper! If you don\'t have this in your arsenal I highly recommended you get one! The price point for this ball is a plus!!!! Get yours today!!!

Likes:  I am a newer bowler but I nonetheless found myself in the market for a spare ball as I had missed enough 7 pins (lefty) to drive me completely bananas.  I had shopped a variety of plastic balls but was drawn back to the sniper time and time again due to its superb look.  I wasn't totally sold on the technological aspect of the core and DMX urethane, but having purchase and used the ball now for three games, I have nothing but great things to say.  The ball itself is as accurate as its name...point and shoot.  It does, however, have just a touch of grip on house synthetic lanes and, if you like, you can make this ball turn a bit.  As an added bonus, I have found it to perform admirably as a strike ball on my Wednesday league that takes place on some very old wood lanes that are not well oiled.  This is a very versatile ball and I couldn't be happier for having decided to spend a bit more on it!
