The legend of the Jackal goes on with the Motiv Jackal Legacy Solid. This high-performance bowling ball is a hook-beast! The Jackal Legacy was designed to handle the heaviest oil conditions that a bowler might face. This ball uses the versatile and strong Predator V2 core and pairs it with the Coercion MXC (MaXimum Continuation) Solid Reactive coverstock to produce the strongest Motiv bowling ball to date. The Predator V2 core has been used in previous Jackal balls but the Jackal Legacy introduces the Coercion MXC Solid Reactive coverstock. This coverstock provides outstanding traction in heavy oil as well as a strong down lane motion with continuation. This ball will be powerful, provide tons of traction on heavy oil, give a smooth motion, as well as a controllable shape that helps lessen the over/under reaction on wet/dry lane conditions.

COMMENTS

Likes: The Jackal Legacy features the popular Predator V2 core and wrapped around it is the Coercion MXC solid cover found on the Forge Flare. The difference? Because the Legacy has an asymmetrical core, it is cleaner in the front part of the lane and doesn’t hook as early as the Flare. The shape it provides, for me, is very similar to the Ghost. That being said, the Legacy is a good 4-5 boards stronger then the Ghost. The Jackal Legacy is a perfect upgrade from the Ghost or a great compliment.

Strongest Jackal Ever

Wow! talk about ball motion! If you are looking for a piece that will get through heavy oil in the front's, store energy and still hit like a freight train this is your ball!

If you bowl in a drier house or on a lighter league pattern bringing the surface up from factory and or hitting it with a little polish really makes this ball shine on your THS.

To start....this ball just flat out hooks.  If you need a ball that'll hook on some of the slickest conditions, look no further than the Jackal Legacy.  Featuring the proven Predator V2 weightblock found in the Jackal series, the Legacy has the Coercion MXC Solid cover wrapped around it that was previously featured on the Forge Flare.  Coercion MXC is the strongest cover that Motiv has ever produced.  Wrapping it around the proven core results in unmatched performance on heavier oil patterns.

My favorite part about the Legacy is that it's a stronger ball that you can still move left with and the ball will still go through the pins.

What to say other than, this ball hooks! The combination of the Coercionâ„¢ MXC Solid Reactive seen in the Forge Flare and the Predatorâ„¢ V2 Asymmetric core found in other Jackals, this ball opens up unfamiliar territories for me on the lane. I'm able to get in deep on longer and heavier oil patterns and still create shape I otherwise wouldn't be able to. I've noticed with this increased shape from a deeper angle, I'm also not losing any carry through the pins, which is also a big plus.

I've drilled two Legacy's so far, one pin up and one pin down. The pin up ball is great when I need to create a little more shape down lane, while still reading the oil in the mids. The pin down ball has been great for closing my angles and digging through the heavy oil.

I see this ball having a spot in my bag for a long time!
