I was a fan of the original Covert Revolt and for me the Revolt Vengeance has been one of the best balls I've ever used, so when I found out about the new United Revolt I was really excited, and after using the ball for the last couple of weeks I can say that this ball will be in my bag from now on.

This ball reminds me of the Covert Revolt, but with more length and a stronger backend motion. Is not as clean and sharp as the Vengeance, but still pretty strong down the lane.

For me it has been the perfect ball when I want to keep the pocket in front of me but I need more shape down the lane. I can also open up the lane with this ball and I see a lot of recovery. Is not as angular as the Primal Fear, but on the other hand it offers me more control at the break point, being a bit smoother than the Primal Fear.

I've been using this ball for about two weeks now and it has been the perfect ball when my Jackal Ghost or my Chronic Paranoia start hooking too much or creating too much friction. The United Revolt gives me more length without being too long and it gives me that extra kick I need when I don't see enough motion down the lane.

I tried the ball with the out of the box surface (5000 LSP) and with this surface, the ball fits right in between the Trident and the Chronic Paranoia. Its also smoother than the Primal Fear at the break point, while still provides similar length.

When I changed the surface to this ball to 3000 Abralon, the ball is about 5-7 feet earlier, have a stronger midlane read but still offers me a strong backend motion. Also with this finish I was able to use this ball on fresh and use it all night by just making little adjustments.

I tried the ball on the Beaten Path oil pattern during practice and I was able to play around 10, keeping the pocket in front of me and the ball rolled great. Offered me a lot of recovery even on this pattern and had enough energy to make a strong move to the pocket.

This ball is a great option for bowlers who want length and control the breakpoint while still having a strong backend motion and for bowlers who need to ball down when your heavy oil ball begin to produce too much friction.

If you liked the Covert Revolt or the Revolt Vengeance, you are definitely gonna love this ball.

This ball is the newest introduction into the Revolt line of bowling balls. The MOTIV United Revolt features the Helix HFP Reactive coverstock combined with the Vanquish core. It's clean through the front of the lane, reads the mid-lane and makes a strong continuous arching motion through the pins,  It’s the pearlized ball I’ve been looking for.

It will be a great fit in your bag on medium oil. It’s a pearl ball that clears the fronts, yet doesn’t miss the mid-lane.  It’s strong off the spot, but yet not too angular and has the continuation through the pins that MOTIV balls are known for.

My United is laid out with the pin above the fingers, just to the right of center, the CG slightly kicked right and has extra hole in my axis. Plain and simple this ball gives me a shape that I haven’t seen in a pearlized ball.  It gives me an arching and continuous shape you would usually only find in a solid, combined with the clean fronts that pearl balls are known to have.  Seems like a GREAT combination to me.  This ball is going to get A LOT of play for me on medium oil, on a variety of different shape patterns.

As a huge fan of the Revolt Series I was thrilled to know that we decided to create a pearl version of the greatness that is the Revolt Series, the only thing that looks better than the color scheme of the United Revolt is the ball motion it provides. My first impression of the United Revolt was the opposite of what the original left me with, it provided me with more skid and had a stronger roll down lane into the backends

In comparison to the Vengeance the UR isn’t angular nor does it snap exiting the pattern, it isn’t something I would consider cornering the lanes with as I would the Vengeance as that is what it was made to do. In comparison to the Havoc the UR isn’t as big or early upfront as that is where the Havoc displays the majority of its muscle, the UR is longer and the majority of its muscle is displayed down lane. Although the United Revolt does have midlane muscle it is not the extent of what the Havoc provides.

The first time I threw the United Revolt the first quality that grabbed me was how much length I got out of it, easily the longest Revolt of the Fantastic Four. The Helix coverstock allows the UR to clear the heads more easily than the covers of the Original, Vengeance, and Havoc.  The second quality I noticed about the UR was what it did exiting the pattern, the UR doesn’t snap off the pattern as pearls tend to do instead of a snap reaction you will get a continuous roll ball motion.  The third quality I admire about the UR is its versatility in terms of cover adjustment as I have used this ball at box and have also gone over it with burgundy/green scotch brite pads, with moderate surface I the UR reminded me of the Original and with heavy surface it reminded me of the Havoc (to a lesser extent) . Both surfaces did provide me with better traction encountering heavier flatter patterns where I needed more end over end roll, where I in most cases I would use my Remix I used my UR achieving desirable results . 

Adding surface to the UR will roughly make it roll 5-7 boards sooner than at box and will also be accompanied by a stronger midlane roll, being in love with the Havoc I was rather fond of this.  On top of the early roll you will still get the backend motion out of the UR, adding surface doesn’t diminish its progression down lane. The United Revolt can serve as your benchmark ball  (if you don’t have one), sitting in between the Fear and Havoc, I also feel that it complements the Chronic  Paranoia  as well granted that the UR cover  is both faster and cleaner overall and has a bigger core.  There is nothing like a bowling ball that does as advertised. The United Revolt is everything I imagined it would be, clean and continuous be it at box or with surface the ball did exactly as advertised.  Do yourself a favor and pledge your allegiance to the United Revolt of Motiv.

The United Revolt is the newest release from MOTIV Bowling Products. This is the first time MOTIV has introduced a pearl version in the revolt line that is great for medium to heavy oil conditions. Once again MOTIV brings the low RG Vanquish core and introduces the new Helix HFP Reactive cover stock. This combo gives the bowlers throwing the United Revolt very good length during transition period on the lanes and provides strong backend motion through the pins on a consistent basic. If you loved the revolt line or any other MOTIV product then you will love the United Revolt.

I hope like most I have been waiting for a pearl version in the line and the United Revolt not only filled that void, its performance is almost mind blowing. To me this is a pearl version of the Revolt Vengeance and you ask any one that has been one the best bowling balls I have ever own and  the United Revolt give me that something I was missing in my bag. The Untied Revolt provides me the length I was missing with previous revolts and still have the pop in the back end to strike at will. At first, the box finish was a little to shinny for me, but I took a 1000 grit pad and lightly scratched the surface and boy what a huge difference. Lower ball speed players though my want to try box finish at first to make it more controllable and go from there. This is a great piece for fresh conditions and during transition when your angles are becoming too angular and want to calm it down a bit without losing energy through the pins.

The United Revolt makes a great addition to the Revolt line bringing us a pearl for the first time.

This addition now gives us a ball with the smooth continuous core we loved in the original revolt and havoc revolt but with the great clean through the front part of the lane cover we need in a pearl.

This ball gives you the down lane angle you need as a step up from a chronic paranoia or a forza GT when they start to labor down lane. This will be your go to ball on the medium to heavy oil patterns when they start to transition and you want to take the front part of the lane out of play.

       Where to begin the review of this highly anticipated release. The need for a medium heavy oil ball with a pearl cover stock and low RG is a must in my opinion. The reality of the day is we are seeing more and more oil and longer patterns. So how do we control the break point without having a ball that over reads the mid lane. The answer to this is the United.
       My initial opinion of this ball is well, truly amazing. There have been a few pieces over the years that have transcended and lived a life of there own. The Sigma Tour, Original Primal Rage and the Venom Shock come to mind. So does this ball fit in the conversation of truly transcendent equipment? Only time will tell.

       First thing I noticed about the United was the amazing color combination. The next thing I noticed was the Cover, the cover has a different feel to the cover. The feel isn't like most shinny pearl, there is a texture to cover. The United has a great core/cover combination. The Low Rg core and the strong pearl cover combine to get what I feel is the signature Motiv Roll. The heavy roll, mid lane control and break point movement. This roll is what brought me to Motiv in the first place and the roll I truly love. This roll is a wonderful blend of control and skid flip.

      I drilled this ball with 55 X 4.75 x 60 lay out P3 motion hole placement. The lay out design for myself was to keep the ball controllable, yet be able to stand in the puddle and use the bump. What I have found thus far is the need for some wax in the front part of the lane in order to get the United to the spot down lane. Without wax in the front the ball will burn up and not finish as well. I am really excited to see how this ball transitions over time and can not wait to see how this ball stacks up against some of the aforementioned greats.
