With all the new balls that come out this time of year, it is a challenge to say the least, on deciding which ball(s) to buy.  Take my word for it, the Sigma Tour is a must have!   Best benchmark ball on the market . . bar none!

I've tried 3 drillings w/Sigma Tour I've always wanted to do. Being w/Motiv has given me that opportunity. Drilled 5 1/4", 4", and 2 1/4" pins keeping the CG in the center of my grip w/all 3 balls. Did not bother to figure out the Dual Angle #'s but since it has been said that the CG does not matter, I wanted to try this layout combo. Naturally the 4" pin is the strongest overall, giving me a very strong motion off the pattern. The 5 1/4" pin went 2' long but was not as 'snappy' on the b/e as you may think. The 2 1/4" pin rolled earlier & did not do alot for me so I plugged it, sanded ball to 1500 & did a 45x5x55 w/pin under bridge & P3 hole. Monster!! This ball reads the mids well & keeps coming after it makes its turn. On a flatter sport shot, this ball rolled true, did not squirt on me & made a super move off the pattern . . and the carry was excellent!!

Do yourself a favor, pick up a Sigma Tour and start racking up honor scores !!

COMMENTSI love the Sigma Core in the SR2's and I was really excited to see Motiv using it with a brand new cover stock technology.
I drilled my first one really strong to see how much reaction I had, well too much, I hit it with a light polish and changed the reaction completely. I drilled my second ball pretty weak, pin above my bridge with the CG kicked out about 1 inch, with a P2 weight hole. Now the strong drilled ball doesn't make it's move until the back end of the patern which is what I was looking for. This ball is so clean through the heads, out of the box I was amazed, it does not "spark" off the pattern and gives me a clean move to the pocket. So I compared them in a practice session on fresh oil, and the stronger drill gave 3 boards more hook and miss inside and the weaker drill gave me miss on the outside. Now I know we all can't drill 2 balls, so I suggest your ball driller match up rev rate and ball speed to give you the look you want. Slower ball speed weaker lay out, higher ball speed stonger lay out.
We have drilled quite a few for customers of all different styles, and the response has been consistent, everybody has been very happy with there purchase. We drilled a 12lb ball for a woman that has been bowling for years and she said, "Best ball I have ever had", so she bought the Raptor for a compliment ball, great 1-2 combo.

As one of the newest members of the MOTIV staff and PBA regional player it was important for me to have a ball I felt confident with that allowed me to match up with most of the PBA lane conditions I see. I was aprehensive at first in switch over from some of the other ball companies but it was obvious once I threw the SIGMA tour that MOTIV has garnered a spot amongst the elite! This ball has everything you can ask from an incredible mid lane read to an awesome continuation through the pins. It has the ablitiy to get throgh the initial oil and still retain the hitting power I need. The ball roll is so consistant that you know what your reaction will be each and every shot. From the high speed High Rev player to the Low Speed down and in player this is definitely one to have in your bag!

The Sigma Tour is yet another great addition to the Motiv line of balls. Like other Motiv equipment, the Sigma Tour offers a consistent, predictable reaction and continuous drive through the pins. It provides me with the length down lane with incredible recovery and pin punishing power. This ball can handle all sorts patterns and is the first ball out of the bag for me, even on your typical house pattern.

Ball Speed: 16mph average

Style: Stroker

Drilling : 40 x 45 @ 4” with no extra hole.

Dislikes:   Haven't found anything I don't like about this ball.

Likes:  This ball is very versatile.  It gives you a strong look on almost any condition.  I have thrown it in 3 different house with different lane surfaces. I get a even and constant reaction on all patterns. It truly is the "Tour Tuned House Shot Killer".  The ball hits like a tank every time. No matter what release, it gets back to the pocket and still drives through and kicks pins around with ease!  MOTIV said what the ball is and boy is it!  The ball has such a smooth and continuous reaction that it makes lane play simple.

Get one of these in your bag, You will not be disappointed. This is the best Benchmark ball I have thrown!! Hands Down!
