Domination, ALPHA DOG in oil
The Jackal line has been such a staple in the bowling industry; it continues with the release of the ALPHA. If you liked the Ghost, then this ball is going to be something that will rise to the top of your favorites chart in a short period of time. The Alpha cuts through those tough sport shot patterns while still offering the versatility of using it on a wide variety of shots. It will also fit into many bowlers' bags regardless of style. The continuation and power at the pin deck is absolutely insane on this ball. There is nothing like it on the market. Yet another insane release by the best company in bowling, MOTIV continues to raise the bar in bowling.

#BEST IN THE INDUSTRY

Going to have to buy a case of these, simply based on his insightful review. MAGNIFICENT! - On a serious note, I nominate this for the year-end top 5 bad reviews. However, he does get credit for using "nothing like it on the market". Forgot about that one when making the "obligatory phrases" list.

At least he threw in a few hashtags That has to count for something. Right? LOL!

I can see your point. He could have just added the hashtags and ignored the rest of the "review". Same content value that way....

It's just the bestest ball EVER!!!
...until the next ball comes out of course. :-)

The Russian judge is going to deduct points because missing the all important phrase keeps the pins low.

Another pointless review from a Motiv staffer. Look, I love Motiv bowling balls, but come on. These reviews and videos could just be copied and pasted with a ball name change. Can't someone come up with an honest and unique review? Once a reviewer starts with the cliches, my eyes glaze over and my brain goes numb.
-
Motiv video reviews tend to make up for their not so great written reviews. Enjoyed Angel's and Tamer's (better than staffers by far) write up of Tank Blitz which I finally picked up though.

Unbiased review. It looks pretty darn good in JR's hands.
-
That's nice TKK, and thanks, but it's off topic for this post. The point is the reviewer is less than useless. I'm not a particular fan of JR's reviews myself, but I agree it's objective. However, can we PLEASE get these reviewers to stop showing reversed releases for us lefties? My gosh, this is the first one I've seen where every frickin shot was shown flipped. I know most lefties, myself included, hate that.... If I want to see LH shots, I'll watch Tamer....

Video reviews aren't much better. You only see strike shots. Let's see ALL of the shots. Let's see what the ball did when it was sent wide or inside. Let's see how it reacts as the lane changes. Let's not forget they can set out the lane pattern to make the ball have whatever shape they want the ball to have in the video.

Exactly. Give me a fresh house shot and I can throw some strikes with pretty much any ball. Once the shot has some traffic on it, things change in a hurry.
We have all had the "...but I was striking on every shot in shadow...and now I can't carry for shit" days. :-)

all of JR's shots are in sequence with 0 shots edited out. That's how he does all of his videos. He shows a washout in this video after he got too steep in the fronts.
