Thanks for the drawn out (but complete) rehash of the USBC/Motiv debacle. I read through trying to pick out what you believe "considering their options moving forward" could mean, and all I could find was your pronouncement that "it could refer to anything". I think that's a bit of a copout given what "options" in this context generally means, but so be it.
Companies don't usually make written public statements without multiple officials reading and scrubbing semantics to ensure the right message is being delivered. Motiv could have made a statement to the effect that a final USBC decision has been rendered, and the company is now anxious to put this unfortunate event behind them and move forward. In other words, they're locking the door and not looking back. The fact is they didn't and it was made very obvious.
We're just going to have to agree to disagree on how we interpret things. Hopefully for Motiv, this will all fade away and they can get back to normal business. It will if they don't unnecessarily prolong it.
