IF the title of this thread doesn't make sense, then you haven't served in the military, specifically using a Browning M2 .50 cal machine guy, AKA 'Ma Duece'. You can probably google it to learn the meaning.  ;D

Okay, okay, I was wrong about the Pride. My Bad. I hated the ball and it was wasted space for me, whether in my bag, storage room or even a trash can the thing was just useless. It didn't even make a good door stop.

THEN, I decided to give one more try. I have increased my ball speed recently and have been working on staying behind the ball for more forward roll in my release. Low and behold, now the Pride is AWESOME! It has become the best ball in my bag. Last 6 weeks scores on an easy house shot were 702, 713, 744, 721, 697 and 738.

So do I recommend you get one? Maybe. For me, it needed good ball speed(16+ mph at the pins) and a more direct angle to the pocket. It shines if I don't try to cover a lot of wood. Your results may vary.

Also, different topic, I threw the new Blue Coral Venom a few times in shadow Tuesday and last night. So far, it looks to be an awesome ball. Which probably means I will hate it about 3 months from now.  ;D

Funny how that works sometimes.

The Pride with surface for me works well on fresh patterns and not crossing a ton of boards, but with a little lane shine, mine woke up quite a bit, kind of feel like the cover is stronger than I thought it was, because I took a second one and polished it and it made the ball hook more on house patterns.

You mention the Coral, it's got a bit of the Shock conundrum for me, the ball works on about everything except the extreme patterns, so it has me wanting to use it all the time on everything right now (new ball syndrome a factor as well), it isn't always the best option but I can get close with it on so many different patterns, even when I probably should be in a Mythic or something else.
