Title: Changing The Surface On Primal Scream
Post by: Brickguy221 on February 11, 2014, 03:39:57 PM
The Primal Scream comes NIB at 4000 Grit, I think it is.

Has any one altered this surface to a different grit and no polish or tried it at a different grit and polish? .... And if so what grit(s) and the results achieved?

I took mine to 2000. I like it much better with the lower grit than I did OOB.

+1......

At 1000-2000 grit, the ball really comes to life on heavier patterns. The cover is very adjustment friendly.

I took mine to 2000 grit then added polish for a 41 foot house shot that is light on volume. It really can hook the whole lane!

I put mine at 3000 to calm it down a bit
