Title: Contemplating Motiv arsenal
Post by: Luvswatch on February 13, 2015, 05:03:20 PM
Ok...love my Sigma Sting, only had some practice and one league night. Gotta get use to the harder snap than my Cyclone, and that is fine.

I am guessing one ball under would be an Ascent Apex and Covert Revolt one ball up (taking suggestions). Jackal or Cruel Intent for the heavy?

Around here I see medium to light for league. The balls above that would be for tournaments.

I don't find my Cruel Intent to be a true heavy oil ball, but the Covert Revolt sure is. The biggest oiler Motiv has right now is the Jackal, it's a real beast that hooks hard.

There is a lot of room between the box finish Sigma Sting and the Accent Apex. The Venom Shock fits that spot pretty well for me. The Venom Panic would probably fit there as well, even between the Shock and Accent, but I have not thrown a Panic yet.

How do you like that Cyclone GB? I have two of them, but have not drilled one yet. Interesting ball to say the least.

Just drilled the Cyclone GB last weekend, but not enough oil to try it yet...might take it Sunday with Sting to fresh shot practice just to see general relationship.

I grabbed one when he first came out with them. Then another this week since he has reduced the price to $79.99. Let me know how is works for you.

I drilled this one for early roll in box finish. Maybe get a second pin up and polish for giggles.
