Cruel - Pleasant Surprise
« on: August 23, 2010, 07:00:56 AM »
Drilled up a Cruel the other day and finnaly had a chance to throw it.  I originally wanted a ball to use after my VG was too much.  I drilled the Cruel with the same layout as my VG, pin up.  Both balls are new with OOB finish.  The VG was stong and very smooth off the spot and hit extremely hard.  The Cruel, started up in the midlane and also came back strong.  After day one, I thought the Cruel was indeed a bit tamer than the VG.  Tried it today and it appears that after a few games on the cover, the Cruel really starts to show it stuff.  The VG reacted the same as yesterday, but the Cruel was totally a different ball.  This ball was very strong from the midlane to the deck.  Missing right was no problem for this ball.  Missing right with the VG and you might leave a weak 10 pin, but the Cruel destroyed the rack.  Overall, a very impressive ball.  Based on today, I will have to reconsider when I will be using it.

For you folks that already have one.  Does this cover get any stronger after more use or will it tame down like most other balls ?
