Impressed with Motiv's look
« on: April 11, 2014, 12:13:27 PM »
I'll say it. The lineup right now looks very solid. Everytime I see the Covert roll down a lane, it looks boss. I always play "If I had to choose another company to go exclusive with, where would I try next". Right now, it's Motiv.

Not that I can see leaving Global any time soon, but Michigan is looking REALLY good. Props to the Motiv guys for putting out a well rounded line up that isn't too busy.

I agree.  They show the most promise out of any new company I've seen launch in the past 15 years.

I've been using mostly Motiv ever since I received a GT1 at the BTM Super School. In my opinion, they have always made very good cores, but the coverstock on the original balls (MOTIVator-Z, T, X, R) weren't that great. Although I did and still do love the GT1 and SR2.

I found the Vicious and Formula covers to be a nice improvement but once they started producing the Atomix and Whiplash covers, they really became a player.

The new generation of coverstock's have been outstanding.

I have to admit, even though I've found a good arsenal with Storm/Roto, I would seriously consider looking at Motiv for the next company I'd try.  They've come a long way the past few years and now seem to have a well-rounded line.  They get props for what they've done.

Motiv really has won me over with performance, I still dabble in other equipment but over the past year and a half Motiv has really gotten their covers on par with everyone while maintaining durability.

And of course it is always nice to support an American designed and manufactured product...

I really got excited when motiv first started making equipment. Loved the look, was so unique. I got a TR2 and a GT1. Holy crap the TR2 was one of the most aggressive pieces I had thrown. Then I broke it some how by adding a lil polish. Have no Idea what happened it just stopped making a move, at all. Then me and the GT1 just never got along! Was a high dollar spare ball. I know it was me not the ball, gave it to a friend and still continues to shoot the lights out with it. Took some time off from motiv. Flash forward I have a Acsent (pink/purple). Love that ball and I just picked up a Covert, holy crap is this ball working out for me. Been a while since I've been this happy with a ball. Just the all around strength of the covert and how versatile it has been for me is just impressive.

Went back to throwing Motiv about 6 weeks ago and have been more than impressed, I have the Rage,Tribal,Sting, ascent, Covert and Shock and all I can say is this is a very impressive line up. I can ball up or down with great confidence and get the results I need on THS or sport shots. Great Job Motiv!
