I'm guessing you are trying to compare the Lane #1 Droid and the Motiv Sigma Hybrid.  Just wanted to let you know those two balls are from two different manufacturers.

My girlfriend is preparing a review of the Sigma Hybrid and it is a geat ball for her and one of her favorites.  It is quite strong and early in the OOB surface.  For her it is a great ball on a fresh THS blending out any over/under the pattern may display.  For a sport shot, the ball gets into a roll easily and doesn't require the dry to start its move.  Her brakepoint is more in the buff area instead of waiting till it encounters friction after the pattern.

Unfortunately, we don't see too many Droids in Texas.  I know of one person who has one and for his game, he says it gives him what he wants.  It seems like a strong ball and a little more angular than the Sigma Hybrid (both at OOB).  But after seeing the Sigma Hybrid, most balls would be.

There's a lot. The Raptor P7 is a great heavy oil piece, 2cruel is a versatile monster, sigma tour is one of the best THS balls I've thrown, primal impulse is good for medium dry. Just depends on what you're looking for.

Looking for something I can throw down and in but when the lane transitions I still can just move left and don't have to change balls. And do they have anything polished out of box or is everything dull?

The sigma tour is solid but the wet sand finish is smooth, almost like a pearl. Raptor attack is a pearl and would fit the bill of what you're looking for. The Primal Impulse is pearl and a very good ball. The QZ2 blue (pearl) and backdraft (hybrid) come polished. Ascent pearl is the strong entry level piece they have.

Just depends on how much oil is on the lanes. If you're comparing to a Droid from Lane 1, then I'm assuming you have oil to bowl on. The Droid is a early rolling piece that eats oil. A ball recommendation is invalid if we dont know your stats and what lane conditions you're bowling on, we'd be shooting in the dark. I always recommend the original Sigma Tour. The ball is really long and strong on the back and it gives bowlers the "Storm-like" reaction that most bowlers are in love with to see the ball turn the corner and continue to turn the corner as you get deeper. The Raptor Attack is a great rolly pearl with great hitting power. It reads earlier than the sigma but needs oil as you get deeper. Primal impulse and the 2 QZ2's will be more medium medium/dry. As i said before, w/o stats and info we're shooting in dark.

Your PAP tells me you have a medium track and speed tells me that you can get the ball to hook depending on your rev rate. Need a rev rate and the condition you're looking to use the ball on.

Good comments Righty.  Motiv equipment has been very good for us.  For my girlfriend, her Sigma Tour isn't quite "Storm-like".  It still picks up in the midlane and makes a nice strong move to the pocket.

If the shot is a typical medium THS, the Sigma Tour can be utilized with much success by most bowling styles.  If your reve rate is a little on the higher side, the QZ2 Backdraft (hybrid) is an outstanding ball.

If you see a little more oil or have lower revs, the Raptor P7 is a good ball for that.  Another option is the new hybrid 2Cruel.  Before she got her 2Cruel in June, all we heard was how strong the ball was.  For her, it isn't as strong as the Sigma Hybrid, but does have a stronger move on the back-end.  Seems to be a good replacement for her favorite ball of all time, the Virtual Gravity.  That is the best comparison to a popular ball I can make for the 2Cruel.  Not super strong like a Nano or Mission X or Nexxus, but more than enough for most medium-medium heavy THSs.

Out of the other balls, the QZ2s are good rolling medium light-light balls and the Primal Impulse is later and stronger than the QZ2s.

Well the 2cruel is gonna be at the top of my list since The Virtual Gravity is first ball out my bag as of now. I guess I would say I hace a high Rev Rate although iv'e never been told what it was. The shot around is pretty heavy through a game in a half than they burn up really fast. Right now I play up 7 wit my virtual which is high in mileage so I'm really looking for something to replace that.

Ok more to work with. With the info you've given and the ball you're trying to replace, here is what i have.

3 options:

2Cruel
65x4.5x40 (p3 if necessary)

Raptor P7
60x4x40 (p2.5 if necessary)

Sigma Hybrid
55x5x45 (p3 if necessary)

Just my take but if you don't have ALL the bowlers stats. with types of lane conditions and lane surface you can't give good information as to layouts.  Total shot in the dark and too much misinformation.

I agree Scott, I was only trying to make generalized comparisons for what I have seen out of the equipment.

True, but if he's using a virtual gravity up 7 i assume his ball is done. The ball is burning up before it hits the break point or it oil soaked. With any of the three, its going to hook more on the backend and give him a better read. His PAP tells me he has a medium-high track and that his balls going to run heavy in the fronts. Virtual gravity, medium high track, into the friction, medium speed, thats how i got my layouts. Pretty generic angles to get the ball the save and turn. Decently long pins to get the ball to push so it does burn up in the friction and get the ball to turn the corner when he gets deeper.
