Finally got to throw my new Raptor Attack last night for the first night of league. Shot 269 right off the bat, but then spent the next two games trying to figure out where the shot went. I was on 1 and 2, and they only run the heads. The oil machines starts on that pair, so the shot usually is very inconsistant.
Love the ball. Gave me the exact reaction I wanted on a fresh shot (or at least a fresh shot for that house) and carried very well. Ended up with a 650 series. Still decent, but if I could have figured out the transition, series could have been so much better. Looking forward to using Motiv for the season, and looking forward to adding at least one more ball to the arsenal!

if you love the attack and see more oil as the winter comes get a 2 cruel and you will have a kick butt duo

I threw the 2 Cruel at a demo days and really liked it, but you think that would be better than the new Scream coming out?

where I bowl here in Texas. and I bowl in different houses they oil patterns are light so in the summer when it is above 90 degrees outside they seam lighter and during the cold months they seam to have more oil. That said I am a stroker 18 mph and 220 revs the 2 cruel is the first ball I have thrown that I could use at the box finish of 4000 Although I will have the scream soon. I think the Hybrid cover stock is more versatile than a solid which the scream is. Also I like the 2 cruel first game on it was 233 second game 300 my 4th the ball is just that good. and That is my opinion I also think every bowler needs a silver Recon for when the lane fries. But alas they will be phased out soon and the option will be the Acent pearl

Where are you at in Texas? I am also in Texas, in the North Texas area.

I also threw the Ascent Pearl at the demo days and found it to be a very smoooth light oil ball!

I live in alba tx right on like fork. i have a small free standing pro shop and bowl a lot
Last year I worked hard to improve my game. which included changing my grip twice changing what foot i mark my approuch set up with. and a change in the brand of ball I am using the Motiv line. So far so good.

Spent many a weekend on Lake Fork. I too have changed up some stuff this year. I went back to grips after not using them for about 8 years. Also going with Motiv all season!

what style a bowler are you ?

Between 16 and 17 mph......300-325 revs......Kind of a Tweener / Power Stroker..... Compact with a above average back swing.
