Motiv Ball Chart.

The Motiv ball chart sure looks pretty empty right now. Not a lot of reasons for someone to want a Motiv ball based on the current chart.

When is Motiv going to fill those gaps in the Heavy and Medium-Heavy lineup?

People will soon be looking for new balls for the upcoming fall league season and right now the pro-shops don't have much to recommend in those categories.

Motiv has the Primal Rage Remix and Revolt Havoc in the medium-heavy category. The only thing missing is an asymmetric cored ball for heavy oil

Bowlexpo and all brands new stuff is coming. No reason to not wait the two weeks till bowlexpo like everyone else

Motiv is pretty good at notifying the public of their future releases.  The Forza GT will be released middle of July and their next ball will be released about 45 days after that.  So expect another release around the first of September in time for fall leagues.

I expect the September release to be in the upper ranges (medium/heavy or heavy) since, as the OP has noticed, the medium and below are pretty full.

I'm going to guess August 24  (27th would be 45 days).  I agree with the assessment.  Again, if I had to guess, I'd say Vengeance replacement.

However, depending on what the actual timing is of the LE replacement ball, it could be in line with that.  And it would make most sense since it's the biggest hole.  Pure speculation on my part, but I think the LE will be part of a dual release.  There will be a 'standard' release HP ball and a LE version for the trades.  Maybe that will just be a special color or perhaps something a little more tweaked.  But they really need to fill that void for all their customers and I can't imagine them releasing only the LE asymmetrical for the trade-ins.

Motiv needs some asymmetric pieces.  They had 2 nice pieces but we all know what happened to them . . .  . .

Motiv doesn't release balls the same way other companies do.  They will release one ball at a time on a roughly 45 day interval.  Venom Cobra first of June.  Forza GT in mid July.  And a new piece for late August/early September.

There is an obvious gap at the top and we know why.  But at the same time, it takes longer than 45 days to develop a ball.  Motiv had a schedule in mind for the year and what we see now are those balls.  Obviously circumstances can affect that schedule (legality along with sales).

With that said, I feel confident in predicting a new high end ball for the next release after the Forza GT.  I also think it will be different than the replacement ball for the Jackals.  How much different, I do not know.
