I myself have mine ordered.. pick it up on thursday.. Anyone have the primal rage and getting the remix? If yes, what do you expect from the remix that differs from the redball? Im hoping I can play a little deeper since I bowl on a slightly heavy and long 42 ft house shot..

Mine is being drilled tomorrow. I've been using my Rage at 2000 sanded, so I will put it back at box finish and the Remix will take that slot.

Yea, Im new to the motiv line myself. Only been throwing Motiv last couple of months. My current motiv arsenal is jackal, primal rage, tag, sniper.. and now the remix.. i just got the rage a couple weeks ago so still getting use to it.. jackal is very strong and i really like the tag... Im hoping the remix will be my benchmark ball

I have had my red Primal Rage for a few weeks now. It is great for the first 2 games, but tends to get squirrely as the oil carries down. Towards the end of the 2nd game, start of the 3rd game, I have to switch to a solid ball to even out the over/under. I have no plans on getting the Remix as I am not a huge fan of hybrid covers...I have 3 hybrid balls in my arsenal already and do not use them very often. Although I am putting one back in my bag to see if it is the right choice now where I bowl since they have been experimenting with different patterns and oils.

In today's coverstock world, the terminology can be misleading. It used to be solids were even rolling, pearls were skid/snap and hybrids were in between. Now, coverstocks are developed to fit the ball in a line-up.
If the ball needs to be skid/snap, then the ball is developed for that shot shape. It doesn't matter if it is a solid, pearl or hybrid.
In fact, I would prefer if manufacturers eliminated this terminology and just put the ball where it goes in the line-up to eliminate this bias from the past.

For myself I kinda doubt it as in general I don't bowl on enough volume for my stats. for a Remix. I am adding a Tag first for the beginning of the season which will be very useful and then a Redline above my Shock. The Redline for me would be a good benchmark ball (true medium). Tag-light, Shock light-medium to medium, Forza Redline medium to medium heavy.

Have had mine for a few weeks now. Went with a little different span and no inserts so not 100% sure how much is the span or the ball. Also, have not really throw much on a house shot, but it was great on a 46 ft Mark Roth pattern. Also, used it a little bit on 32 ft Wolf too, had a nice hook/set reaction... It doesn't feel the be as strong as I thought it would be though..

Just got mine in yesterday, will drill up later in the week for a heavier oil shot than our normal THS.
Will tweak pitches a little, not sure on the drilling yet, but ... that's part of the fun!!

With the performance of my Primal Rage being great and second to none, there is no room in my bag for the Remix as I can't see where it will do anything for me that my Rage isn't already doing for the conditions I see where I bowl.
