Title: How Strong is the TR2 Really?
Post by: Rotoguy300 on December 04, 2009, 01:37:48 PM
I'd like to hear how people might compare the TR2 to other strong balls currently on the market, please include-

Mutant Cell
Virtual Gravity
Siege

Amongst others.

Thanks!

Can only compare it the Mutant Cell. The TR2 is considerably stronger in oil. It starts up earlier and keeps chugging. On oilier conditions the MC starts up later and just doesn't have the bite of the TR2. However, I find the TR2 to be very condition specific- limited to a good amount of oil. The MC is more versatile. It excels on med-heavy to medium and is not nearly as condition specific.

Interesting, I have heard a few others say the opposite- that they can throw their TR2 on anything, but their Mutant Cell is relegated to floods. Could this be that their TR2 is reacting too early for them in general or that they really have no idea what a "flood" really is? lol

Plus the Mutant is an asymmetric. It's STILL very easy to screw up the drilling and make it do many other things from virtually nothing to requiring really heavy oil.

The TR2 is a symmetric core. It's also duller than a Mutant.
