Hyper Venom, Big cover and core you love!
« on: April 05, 2024, 03:56:06 PM »
The Hyper Venom took me by surprise with its exceptional performance, especially in the oil! Let's break it down: starting with the Gear core, borrowed from the legendary Venom Shock, it's a fast-spinning lower flare core that's perfect for tackling medium-light oil conditions. This core placement on the ball chart ensures optimal performance and versatility on the lanes.
Now, let's talk about the game-changing coverstock: the Propulsion MXR Pearl Reactive. Drawing inspiration from the success of the Supra Rally and Nuclear Forge, this coverstock allows the Hyper Venom to read the mid-lane while delivering a powerful angular motion on the backend. It's a game-changer!
If you're looking to step up your bowling game and dominate the lanes, the Motiv Hyper Venom is the ball for you. Don't miss out on the opportunity to experience its exceptional performance firsthand!

Can we stop calling things game-changer? How does it change the game? The ball is good, but it does nothing special that other balls don't do. It's the Fatal Venom 2.0. A little cleaner and a little more angular. You can get similar motions in the Ripcord Launch and Supra Rally - especially on house. And that's just Motiv. Go to the other brands and you'll find some other similar balls.

Simply put, it's a new pearl from Motiv. It compliments the Venom Shock very well. It does not change the game in the slightest. Highlight the strengths and weaknesses instead of what you do with every ball release.

Exactly.

I don't know if the ball is a game changer, but the picture of the bowler on the wall would indicate that a right handed bowler is bowling (releasing the ball) off the wrong foot

That by itself would certainly be a game changer... ;)

Just because the picture is of a person bowling doesn't mean it should be on the wall. I think I'll try that style tonight and report back after my hospital stay.

I hope the ball is a good one though.

Sorry can’t buy a hot pink ball. I don’t get why Motiv is trying to sell goofy colored pearl Venoms. As far as performance, the VSP was really good and looked good, these not so much. I saw maybe two people using the Fatal in my area and I bet I see one of these, what a waste of a ball release. People paid to use, will be the only ones throwing this one.
