Well, I broke down 2 weeks ago and picked up a Venom Shock after the year of great reviews this ball has had. Needless to say, I wasn't disappointed. It's a stronger IQ Tour Solid, but not as strong as say the Nano. Predictable, strong, and plenty of mid lane action even with the lower diff. That led me to compliment it with the Tribal Fire. And it is a nice ball down when the Shock is becoming too much. Since tax day, I now have a Covert Revolt, Revolt Vengence, Octane, Tag, and I found a NIB Sigma Sting. I am giddy giddy over these balls. They are the closest to Storm that I have found, but there are a few noticeable differences. The covers do not have to be maintained near as much, and they take adjustment better, imho. These balls are fun to throw. And I will be adding the new stuff coming in July. And yes, I mean July! More info to come during the Summer Swing!

It's always good when you find something that you like and match up well with.
I hope you continue to bowl well with your new stuff.

Venom Shock, Tag and Vengeance are my 3 favs!

I'm torn as I have thrown Storm/Roto for yrs now, and I've also have build me a Motive arsenal myself. Ever since I've bought the Covert Revolt, Primal Rage, Venom Shock, and Ascent Apex, I've had very consistent scores, and all the versatility I can handle, top to bottom.....
I've since purchased a Tribal Fire, and venom Panic, and a Tag is sure to follow.. Oh I forgot to mention, I still have my old trusty Venom Strike for a rainy day, lol. ;D

I'm not happy with my current stuff from EBI. I throw too fast with too low revs so I need high flare and lots of surface. I have the Hypercell and Jackal on my mind. Any opinions on those?

I also have higher speed and lower revs. The Jackal works great for me.

Hyper Cell and Jackal are very different balls, I have owned both. The Hyper Cell was stronger and much earlier. The Jackal is much more useable and in my opinion takes surface changes better. In really heavy oil, which is hardly ever seen, I think the Hyper Cell would handle it better, but over all my vote is for the Jackal.

The Jackal has a diff. Of .060 which is the maximum amount legally, pre drill. It has a really really strong motor with what I would consider medium strong coverstock. The cover on the Hyper is much stronger. I am interested in the ball that follows the Jackal ;D and perhaps the next Primal.
