I wonder how many people are gonna say hey that balls illegal?
Looks just like my Carnage so I'm happy and will drill it up.

They said its replacement only. I'm sure they cringed at having to make it, the cost of materials, perhaps the USBC approval was negotiated as replacement only. Website says not for sale.

It would funny if the ball is a hit and those that could not wait want one, but I Think they wanted one more like the original being Pearl. I had a carnage and wanted a carnage replacement, so I rolled the dice on the waiting for the LE.

Thinking about the .054, guess one could do a layout that takes it up to .058+

I think that once all the replacements go out they will open it up for normal sale to recoup some of the expenses of the balls development.

Anyone heard an ETA on these yet? Not trying to stir the pot, more just trying to make sure I had not missed something.

Thanks!

The ones I have seen, the seller doesn't actually have the ball(s) yet.

copied from the listing:
It is our goal to complete shipping for all Jackal LE balls that were requested through the MOTIV® Ball Exchange Program before the end of September.

end of september. no offense to anyone chill out, its only a bowling ball.
and of course staffers got them first, hoping to make a show to get some free marketing.
people need to relax

It's not about the bowling ball for me. It's about customer service.

Simple and completely accurate.

For those who have shed tears for the staffers, arguing they should have had first dibs on the LE, consider they've already had access to the Trident for a few months. In the BJI review of the Trident, they say "The Trident is a good replacement for the Jackals, fitting between the two". Meaning that staffers didn't need the LE to immediately fill a heavy oil hole for tournament competition.

Perception is everything in business, and the perception that screwed Jackal customers can get in the back of the line is not good.

Exactly right Steven.

Customer Service is easy, until there is a problem. Then you see if a company really does have good customer service or not. And at this time, I would give give Motiv a D+

That confuses me.  If the ball will not be for sale, then why the need for exposure on tv?
