Just got this e-mail late last night:
"The USBC has affirmed its previous decision and announced that neither the Jackal nor the Jackal Carnage will be reinstated. While MOTIV® is considering its options related to the recent decision, we are moving forward with the MOTIV® Ball Exchange Program to take care of our customers.
We are also pleased to announce that the USBC has just recently approved the Jackal LE (Limited Edition), which will now be produced and distributed in accordance with the MOTIV® Ball Exchange Program. The new Jackal LE is a strong heavy oil ball that features the new Predator V2 core and Coercion HVS cover stock, which is tuned with a 3000 Grit LSS finish. The 15# model has an RG of 2.47, a differential of .054, and intermediate differential of .015.
No further action is required by you at this point since we have already verified your submission to receive the Jackal LE. This message is being sent to you to confirm that the ball will be produced and shipped to pro shops as soon as possible. It is expected that Jackal LE balls will be shipped to pro shops before the end of September. When your ball is shipped, you will be notified by email. In the meantime, please hold onto your Jackal and/or Jackal Carnage. Do not discard, damage, or destroy the ball. You will need to turn it into your pro shop later to exchange it for your new Jackal LE.
We sincerely appreciate your patience and support during this process, and we wish you great success with your new Jackal LE this bowling season."
