Mini Review of QZ1 (Red)
« on: January 08, 2010, 01:12:17 PM »
Finally got my QZ1 drilled up on Tuesday so I got to throw it on a variety of patterns the last 3 days. Had the pro shop gal drill it with the pin just above the middle finger like my 505C (5 1/2" from my PAP) but the CG on this one is right by the grip line rather than kicked out. From what I've seen so far, it's nice and long down the lanes and has quite a kick in the backend with the right angle shot. But the backend is controllable expecially if you like playing inside the 18-20 board and swing it back in. I find the QZ1 to be longer than my 505C and also having abit more backend which is something I needed. Not the type of ball to use on the longer patterns or carrydown but a great go-to ball when my GT1 starts to hook too much past the pocket.  I'll have to get a few more games on it so I'll have a full review in two weeks.
