Review:

The Jackal is back and stronger than ever before! This strong asymmetrical ball is a great choice for bowlers like me who are speed dominant and are looking for maximum hook potential out of a ball. This ball will cut through the higher volume oil patterns and is great for blending the over/under as you start to transition left on your typical house shot without losing carry and hit power. The NEW Coercion HV2 (High Volume 2nd Edition) cover creates more friction and has been tuned for the Jackal Rising with a 2000 Grit LSS finish to maximize hook potential. No matter what pattern I’m bowling on from House to Sport, I know the Rising has the traction and hit power I need to deliver from multiple angles on the lane. Compared to my Jackal Ghost, the Rising is earlier in the lane and gives me more control in the oil and responds appropriately to the dry. I’m looking forward to the strength and versatility of this ball with my next string of tournaments in the New Year.

Loving my Ghost but sometimes it hits a bit flat for me. I have it drilled pin down at OOB. Really thinking about putting some polish on it and picking up a Rising. Really happy so far after switching to Motiv from Storm. I feel a pin up ,length drilling on my Rising will be a nice step up from a polished Ghost and should give me more length than the Ghost at OOB.  Also have a Shock at OOB Cobra OOB and a Tag Cannon OOB. I have a fairly low rev rate with a ball speed around 16 mph. The Ghost with some polish and the Rising should be a great 1-2 punch on the heavy stuff  With the Shock and Cobra I have the medium stuff covered and the Tag Cannon for the dry.
