The Thrill is Motiv’s new entry level/light oil condition ball. It features the brand new Flux weight block and uses the Agility XP Reactive cover. It comes in both Magenta/Wine and Blue/Purple. I drilled up a Magenta/Wine Thrill pin up at box finish, and a Blue/Purple pin down at 2000 grit.

The first thing I noticed was how clean this ball gets through the heads. For me, the VSP has been my go to ball when the lanes dry up and I need something to get down the lane. The Thrill is much cleaner but does not sacrifice down lane motion or hitting power. On a burned up house shot, I moved about 4 and 1 right with the Magenta/Wine, and about 2 and 1 out with the Blue/Purple off my VSP line.

My comfort zone is in the track and up the boards. The Thrill allows me to stay in that zone when everything else in my bag checks up too soon. At this price point, I feel it’s the best bang for your buck on the market. Bowlers looking for their first ball that they can grow into, or those looking for a ball where you can play on the burn.
