I've only seen motive crack around their logos, but not their fingers like storm stuff.

I have had them crack in the fingers, like from finger hole to pin and then all the way around and also along the logo from separation of the logo and the rest of the cover.

I'm actually using the first VIP limited edition ball that was heading toward a bad crack from a separation around the logo. My proshop guy drilled out the small area and plugged it and it's as good as new. So, if you catch it on a ball that can't be replaced before the crack spreads, it can be repaired.

I know most if not all manufactures have a cracking problem but, cracking around the logo seems to be a bit odd, don't you think?

Is it cracking or just separating a little around the logo?  I little separation will not harm the performance of the bowling ball. That, too, can be repaired if it bothers you.

I’ve had several Motiv balls crack (although I’ve heard about cracking of every brand) and usually it’s ball that I haven’t used in a while. A pro shop operator told me to pick them up and bang them together every month or so. The cracks I’ve seen have been equatorial.

I have 7 mi have 7 motiv balls 5 of which have cracked all while sitting in a bag inside my house. I have multiple storms and a few dv8 and one hammer all stored the same and not one have cracked. Motiv balls are junk if you want to get more then a year out of them sure these other two I got will crack soon!

Never had a Motiv ball crack on me. There must be more to the story than we are being told or it's fake news because this person just doesn't like Motiv.
