Motiv Cracking

I know this was a topic a good while back but I was wondering if anyone has been experiencing any cracking lately and if this is still an issue with Motiv balls? I've just recently started using Motiv and I haven't had any issues but a guy in one of our leagues had a Motiv Venom Shock crack or separate around the logo. Is this still a problem with Motiv?

The only 2 Motiv's I have had cracked were the Rogues. Right along the bottom of the Rogue logo and then continued into the shell. Seems like the fairly straight edge might be an issue.

I e bought a lot of Motiv balls over the past 7 years and have had 10 or 12 crack, none around the logo but all were equatorial cracks. Motiv says the reason is lack of use, that that balls are intended to be used.

That's a bit annoying Looks like Motiv's saying the balls crack because they sit around too long and aren’t used enough. Kind of weird though that so many cracked in the same spot. Maybe they'll do something about it?
