Right now you can get them cheap.  Good time to try it.  I had one, and it didn't move at all.  It was not a good match up for me at all.

The Buzz wouldn't be a good comparison for the TX1 in my opinion. It's a much stronger ball, especially at the break point. The length would be similar though.

Ball Drilled and tested on 2 different house in oob,Synthetic lane 38ft pattern and 40ft.
The movement on the lane was good but honestly the hitting power/carry was not very good
the ball seems to hit soft.
on the same pattern i tried a Tsunami and a Buzz (with the same layout)and these balls hit better.
The layout may be unsuitable?
Any help/info is appreciated.thanks

My Buzz and TX 1 are drilled identically. The TX-1 handles more oil, hooks earlier and more overall. My Buzz handles medium oil on both Brunswick AnvilLanes (very slick) and AMF HPL (fairly large amount of friction)  synthetics. So the TX-1 handles Medium-heavy oil with ease. In fact, it needs medium-heavy oil to perform with its drilling.

The Motiv SX-1 and TX-1 balls were made with obviously a different set of resin coverstocks for the same balls. While I have a lower ball speed, 14 - 15 mph at the pins than many here, there can''t be that huge a difference in the resin used in the balls made. My Tx-1 ranks up there with balls such as the Rogue Cell and other true medium-heavy oil balls!!!
