I am looking a purchasing some new equipment. I've been looking at both of these balls and was wondering what people thought of the two. What layouts they would recommend? And any info they would like to pass along.

I also have to agree about the GT1. This ball is probably the strongest pearl ball I've ever had since the Complete NV. It has a very strong midlane motion and packs a punch in the pocket. As with TDC57, got the surface with a used 1000 grit abralon but keep it more sheen than completely dull or polished. The only time it doesn't turn is if I come across heavy carrydown or an error in my release due to too much speed. Unless your house put out a decent amount of oil it does get tricky to try and use it the whole series. I've had mine for nearly two months now and I really like it. Though I don't need the SR2, from what I've read and seen on video it looks sweet with alot of backend.

It really depends on the type of shot you're bowling on and what you're looking for out of the ball.  Since you have a higher ball speed and decent revolutions you can make these two balls do very different things.

The GT1 is a little earlier and overall stronger than the SR2 for me, but what I love about the SR2 is it's versatility.  I've been able to use the SR2 on everything from fresh flooded house shots to second shift house shots with a bigger move to the left.  

I noticed in your profile you have a dynamo and a new breed solid in your arsenal.  While these are different covers than the GT1 you probably may be overlapping a bit there.  I'd probably recommend an SR2 to fill in some gaps in your aresenal.  I'd do a dual angle layout like a 50 x 4 x 30 or something similar.  This will give you recovery and backend for straighter fresh shots and swinging broken down conditions.

At any rate, give the videos a look and see if they help at all.

Well the SR2 is a polished finish and definitely goes longer than the GT1 and has a similar look to my pearlized equipment.  What I like about it is it doesn't skate in oil the way most pearls do, but I still have that same long and strong look that my pearl equipment does.

It's very similar to the virtual energy and some other pearl equipment I've thrown but hits much harder.

Ironically I used to throw all Morich equipment so I have a lot of experience with their covers and cores.  I've had the Seek and destroy, levrg, sahara, ntense levrg etc.  The one thing I'll say about Mo equipment, is even with pearlized coverstocks you'll never get that long pearl look.  The cores are so big, heavy, and strong that there's no skid snap look to Mo equipment even with a pearlized coverstock that I've found.  

I still like their equipment but with no PBA support and the whole Mexico thing I've decided to move on from them.  I don't know much about the seismic or AZO stuff.
