We present 2 videos demonstrating the amazing durability and longevity of MOTIV bowling balls. The first is an Oil Soak Test, we took 2 new Jackals and soaked one in oil for an hour and then compared the reactions. The second video demonstrates a brand new Jackal up against a Jackal that was used in the original ball motion video last summer that has around 150 games on it. Enjoy, and thank you for watching!

Motiv balls still performing excellent after150 etc games or what ever doesn't surprised me the least bit, based on my personal experience with Motiv balls. For me, Motiv balls just never seem to die like I have had balls die or their performance deteriorate from NIB from other companies. I have yet to have to de-oil a Motiv ball. I have read numerous times also on both here and on BBE about people with Motiv balls never getting any oil out of them when trying to de-oil them.

I attempted to extract oil from my 2 Motiv balls late last week and was surprised at how there was very little oil to be extracted. This is in contrast to stuff I've thrown from Storm/Roto Grip (especially the Defiant) or EBI where the extraction would remove a lot of oil.

I'm sure this is highly secretive/proprietary, but it sure does make you wonder how they're doing it.
I would imagine other companies have this technology ready, but are holding off on using it until they need to. Dying equipment brings in the $$$$.

The Sting is my sole Motiv ball. On my last de-oil attempt (2hrs. at 125 degrees), I got a faint hint of oil the size of your top pinky joint---almost nothing. I have not seen any loss of ball reaction.
I love The Sting so much that I recently purchased a drilled and plugged Sting---in great shape---on e-bay. The ball looks like new. There are still some 15 lb. Stings available when I last looked.
