Title: Motiv QZ2 Quadfire Hybrid first impressions
Post by: LuckyLefty on April 02, 2013, 08:04:44 PM
Of the Hybrids I have the AMF Shred it, the Roto Grip Rising Star and this Quadfire: this is the smoothest one.

ie it does what Hybrids are claimed to do.  Good push and energy but smooth at the breakpoint!  Haven't tweaked all the specs but it hits hard and is smooth and strong.  Excited to give a thorough test soon!

Regards,

Yeah that Quadfire is a really good ball, like you said really smooth, one of Motiv's best balls.

If it is a QZ2 Backdraft then yes it's a hybrid.  If it is a QZ2 then it's a pearl.  Either way they have places in the bowling world.

Quadfire core is one of the best .045 symmetrical cores around.  Surround it by a number of covers and you can handle a lot and Motiv users know that.  Thrash Frenzy continues to be one of the best house balls for me in 5 man as the heads go.

QZ2 Backdraft the Hybrid.  I think the QZ2 pearl is blue.

This one is really smooth!  Yet feels powerful at the break.
